this is what you call a "jam session"

video

Sometimes I just like to think of myself as an observer. Taking everything in and trying to help people understand communication and why. I think it's an amazing gift to be able to just listen to what other people have to contribute.

There are so many of us who just scream something just to scream something. People vying for your attention, standing up like a three year old with a diaper around their ankles saying, "Mommy, Daddy, I did it!" Like something was accomplished by all their intrusiveness.

It's get even worse when we become adults, with our hidden agendas and lies and manipulations, softening the human spirit to a pile of mashed potatoes.

So I choose to leave those who like to scream, unnamed and just have a blog. It's much healthier in the long run if you just focus on your potential and let positive energy help you listen...

...and document moments when the human spirit comes alive, like in the video above. I was fortunate enough to share some time with these guys who completely help each other out of their usual boundaries. I even jammed with some hand cymbals. It was awesome.

freestyling at its best...
